LITHO PROPERTIES
NIPPON SPEED Process Colours have excellent lithographic properties which ensure trouble free running with a variety of fount concentrates. However, we recommend the use of Morohoshi Al-Fount which is an alcohol replacement fount or our Morohoshi Aquadamp Fountain solution. These inks rapidly achieve a stable ink/water balance. It excels during make ready within minutes with minimum print waste.
PRINTABILITY
NIPPON SPEED Process Colours can be printed on a variety of uncoated/coated papers and boards available for commercial and packaging jobs. It offers better competitive advantage to your prints by providing extra value.
DRYING
NIPPON SPEED Colours set rapidly due to their good solvent release properties giving fast work & turn capabilities.
GOOD STABILITY – BETTER PRESS PERFORMANCE
NIPPON SPEED Process Colours offer good tack stability, thus resulting in reduced blanket piling problems which other inks may encounter.
ENVIRONMENTALLY NON-HAZARDOUS
NIPPON SPEED Process Colours comply with the required specifications for minimum metal content as specified by DIN, BS, JIS and ASTM. It has been tested by an independent Product Standard Authority in Singapore as to its metal content. It conforms to the technical specifications of the above authorities for the following metal content: Antimony, Arsenic, Barium, Chromium, Cadmium, Lead, Mercury & Selenium. The methods of the test are by Inductively Coupled Plasma Atomic Emission Spectrometry (ICP-AES) and Cold-Vapour AAS.
OTHER PROPERTIES
It has added vehicles of the wax compounds that is microcrystalline and has no skinning problem for a period of 2 days if left open on the ink duct.
