COSMO 8 Colour Perfecting Ink is a high-performance ink series that has been developed with the use of advance technology chemicals. It is designed to suit state of the art sheet-fed multi-colour perfecting presses, meeting today’s printing technology and users’ demands for high quality results.
COSMO 8C is designed to meet printers’ demand for printing standardization by dot gain, contrast value and trapping. It has achieved the highest productivity by minimizing ink piling on the impression cylinders. Other advantages include good adaptability to most types of fountain water, excellent printability and high-fidelity prints, superior trapping efficiency and low aromatic content for global ecology and environment.
COSMO 8C’s new pigment, varnish and additives promise a smooth and stable printing job with a quicker start-up. The strength and high density of the pigment used gives excellent colour retention on the print thus ensuring a sharp and rich resolution and quality.

ENVIRONMENTAL ISSUE
Vegetable-Oil Based. Produced within regulation by “VOLUNTARY REGULATION CONCERNING PRINTING INKS FOR FOOD PACKING MATERIALS” enacted by Japan Printing Ink Makers Association.
UV COATING
Our UV Varnish may be applied on this ink but it is advisable to print it with wet or dry.
INK ADJUSTMENT
All inks supplied press-ready and require no additives.
Minimum amount of reducer (AS-1022) may be added when necessary.
STACK PERFORMANCE
Stacking heights are determined by the thickness of paper stock.
WASHING UP
Morohoshi Enviro Blanket & Roller Wash or 62C Wash is recommended for more effective cleaning and rejuvenating of blankets and rollers.
